2x4T Semi-Gantry Crane Featuring a 360° Rotating Trolley

Mandate

Complete engineering design for the gantry system, including the development of a 360° rotating trolley in compliance with current standards. We also handled overall project coordination, ensuring seamless integration with the client’s existing equipment and adapting the trolley’s electrification system accordingly.

Challenges

This project represented a major technical challenge due to its complexity. The design of the 360° electrically powered rotating trolley required a meticulous approach. Adapting the SEW motors and managing cable angles were critical aspects, as was the positioning of the return pulleys, which had to be perfectly aligned with the supplier’s specifications. The entire system was engineered to ensure optimal performance and maximum durability of the rotating trolley.
